Formerly known as Tails R Waggin’ in South Overland Park Kansas off of Metcalf, is the newest home away from home for your dog. Tails R Waggin’ became South Overland Park Woof's Play & Stay in the fall of 2019. Over the past year, we have beenbeen making improvements before officially announcing our exciting news this past summer!
Dawn Johnson and Elise Bruce Bush, the former owners of Tails R Waggin’, set the bar high for every service they offered, and Woof’s is happy to continue service. The former training program, headed by Mary Vernon, will continue to help dogs be the best version of themselves. Woof’s worked closely with Dawn and Elise to understand their operations and team members in order to make as smooth of a transition as possible. To help with the hand off, Dawn and Elise wrote the following letter to say goodbye to their loyal pup parents!
"To Our Valued Customers, Friends and Supporters –
The past 12 years we can’t put into words what it’s meant to build Tails R Waggin' by spending time working with you, your pups, and the team here at Tails R Waggin’. For the past couple of years, I have been thinking about “what’s next” for me, a lot having to do with health issues, all the while not wanting to leave the dogs and the great team at Tails. After two years of talking to a colleague, last October I decided to sell Tails R Waggin’ to Andy Wiltz and his partner at Woof’s Play & Stay. Andy lives around the corner, is a member of our community and has kids at Blue River Elementary. We wanted to say THANK YOU for over a decade of support and encouragement. You made mine & Elise dream come true.

Changes Woof's Has Made:
If you stop into Woof's, you will see many cosmetic updates to the facility. So far we have upgraded the lobby, and went from having only 1 play yard to having 3 play yards! You may check out this video on our Facebook page to see what the new yards look like. We also added a private luxury suite option, complete with a TV, fan, and web camera for you to tune in and check up on them! We've added web cameras in our play areas that you can access to see how your dog's day is going. Check them out here!
